During Your Appointment
During your BBL treatment, we provide a comfortable reclining bed where you lie down so we can access your treatment areas. Then, we apply a clear conduction gel so the handpiece can glide across your skin. Finally, your technician moves the BBL Hero or BBL® HEROic™️ across the treatment area in a methodical pattern, and you may feel a mild heating sensation.
Caring for Your Skin After BBL
After BBL, we recommend a topical retinoid like RX tretinoin or SkinBetter Science AlphaRet Serum. Retinoids help increase cell turnover, and when you pair them with BBL, they help maintain and enhance your results.
We also recommend a topical antioxidant like Revision Skin Care C+ Correcting Serum or SkinBetter Science Alto Advanced. These serums strengthen your skin’s barrier and improve skin tone, reinforcing all the benefits from BBL.
Finally, we always recommend wearing sunscreen daily. Our favorite formulas include the EltaMD UV Daily and the SkinBetter Tone Smart SPF. Sunscreen protects the skin from harmful UV rays, which can undo progress from your BBL treatment.
