Background & Experience
Initially, Emma earned her bachelor’s in psychology, followed by working on her master’s degree in youth development. Emma began working for a low SES elementary school where she taught social skills, anger management, coping skills, socio-emotional intelligence, and other important life skills.
Though Emma always loved makeup, haircare, and skin care, it was her struggles with acne in high school that inspired her to pursue her passion for aesthetics.
Eventually, she went back to school to earn her aesthetics license, and proudly settled into her new, exciting career. Emma credits her psychology background with helping her truly connect with her patients on a personal level. Derm Aesthetics has offered her the perfect environment to flex her aesthetic muscles alongside a stellar team that is dedicated to helping improve patients’ lives.
Emma and her husband welcomed their baby boy in October 2023, so any spare time involves spending time together as a family, or going on lots of play dates with friends who have kids around the same age.
